X – at The Crystal Palace – Bakersfield, CA

On Monday December 27th The Crystal Palace hosted one of Bakersfield's most anticipated concerts of the year. The iconic 80's Punk band X played for a sold out crowd. One would expect a group of hard core Punk fans to be filling up the seats of the Crystal Palace, but to my surprise it was quite the contrary. The audience consisted mainly of reserved middle aged crowd. It was a huge reminder that Bakersfield had a Punk scene thirty years ago. X came out and announced that they would be playing their album "Los Angeles" in it's entirety. They put on a great show that seemed to bring their audience back to 1979. Here are a few pictures from that night!
