Korn – 2 Cents – Otherwise – at The Pearl Theatre Inside at The Palms – Las Vegas, NV

Well it's that time of year in Las Vegas Summer Time and the heat is on. As was true of the show at The Pearl Theatre at The Palms hotel and casino. It started off with the comedic genius of Big Jay Oakerson, who was the MC of the show. He left no stone unturned with his style of comedy, nobody was left out, he bagged on men, women, gay lesbian, black white you name it he was on you hard!!  If you were in the audience you were fair game. And he was hilarious!!  He introduced the JAGER GIRLS and the crowd went wild. After his first comedy routine he introduced the first band of the night "OTHERWISE" these guys were hardcore metal headbangers. They Kicked Ass and took no prisoners through their 45 minute set banging out some HEAVY METAL THUNDER! What a way to start a night of Kick Ass Music first we get the comedy of Big Jay, then the Metal Madness of Otherwise. I knew this was going to be a show to be remembered.

After Otherwise finished their set we got More comedy from MC Big Jay, this time not just making fun of people in the crowd but also making fun of himself. Including sexual situations he got himself into. You should check him out on Myspace and listen to his routine very funny stuff from the Big Man.
Now he introduced the second band of the night "2 Cents." Another hardcore group of Heavy Metal Mayhem Monsters.

These guys just got the audience ready for what was yet to come. They  Rocked The Pearl Theatre, and the crowd was loving every minute of their show! They were Hot, Sweaty, and Hardcore. What more could you ask for? Check these guys out they are on tour now. Now we get our last dose of Big Jay Oakerson, He was pretty much winding up his comedy MC'ing duties when he introduced "DJ KNUCKLES" This Cat was spinning tunes by Metallica umong others and I for one have never seen many dj's but this mans music he was spinning was BAD ASS !!!!  HEAVY METAL DJ ROCKED IT. after about 15 to 20 minutes of spinning some hardcore mixes The Headliner of the night came on stage, and the crowd went absolutely CRAZY!!!!!

Playing hits like Dead Bodies, Here to Stay, Freak on a Leash,  and 2 of my favorites "BLIND"  and "SHOOTS AND LADDERS"  And the final song of the evening was "Got The Life". I know if your reading this you are probably a fan of Korn and you know they go all out while pleasing the audience.
When they first came on stage I was leaning on the stage waiting resting my chest against the stage,  and they hit a few Bass Chords MY GOD !  I swear if I had been having a Heart Attack the pure power of those bass chords would have shocked my heart back into life. At that point I knew I was in for a very loud and hard hitting show. They could do no wrong.

Every song and chord was played to perfection. An Incredible evening of Music and Comedy at The Pearl Theatre in The Palms Casino In the middle of the desert. with our awesomely incredibly horrible 100 degree temperatures. But this show on that particular night made it seem hotter inside than it was outside in the elements of the desert.
