Gogol Bordello – at The Fonda Theatre – Hollywood, CA

October 8, 2013

Gogol Bordello - at The Fonda Theatre - Hollywood, CA - October 8, 2013Absolutely awesome show! A venue like the Fonda makes for a very cool experience with such a energetic band. Eugene and the rest of Gogol were fantastic at rousing the crowd and really working up a frenzy. We were pretty much central on the main floor, right where the mosh pit started really quickly into the show.

The energy and unity that Gogol Bordello brings is indescribable. Real music being played with a passion and zest for life. Gogol Bordello is an amazing live act they hit the stage full force and shoot their energy over and through the crowd,  it never slacks or stops through the entire show. The Fonda was packed, and the music kept you dancing.

They ended it gracefully after 2 hours, including the encore. If you get the chance to see them in a small venue, do not pass it up. I consider the amount of sweating a big indicator of how the show went and I was downright soaked, you will dance the whole time!

Set list:
intro, Ultimate, Not a Crime, Wonderlust King, The Other Side of Rainbow, Dig  Deep Enough, My Companjera, Trans-Continental Hustle, Immigraniada (We Comin' Rougher), Break The Spell, Pala Tute, Malandrino, Start Wearing Purple, Sacred Darling  (ENCORE), Lost Innocent World, Think Locally- Fuck Globally, I Just Realized, Mishto, We Shall Sail.
