FYF Fest and its promoters are a bonafide institution in Los Angeles. For the sixth year in a row these guys have put together an incredible and diverse lineup of bands that reflect a respect, understanding, and love for true underground music. Every year they have put on a festival that showcases new and exciting bands along with well established and well respected headliners and they are able to create an atmosphere that promotes unity and a good time shared by people from every faction within L.A.'s amazing underground community.

This year's festival will be headlined by The Rapture, who are about as close as any band can get to being a modern day equivalent to Gang Of Four and they promise to provide a soundtrack for rowdy dancing. Other highlights include Stoner Metal pioneers Sleep, 1990's Hardcore legends Unbroken, modern Hardcore Punk upstarts Ceremony, and 7 Seconds who need no introduction or description at all. Off! will also be appearing, featuring Keith Morris of the Circle Jerks/Black Flag and members of Red Cross and the Hot Snakes. As always part of the excitement behind FYF Fest though will be checking out new and unfamiliar music and there are sure to be some amazing surprises in store.
