2011 Demerit USA Tour Preview

There is a new force to reckon with hailing all the way from Beijing and that force is China's own Demerit. The ever expanding Punk scene has found its way into eastern Asia and in its time has produced a number of ground breaking artists emerging from Chinese night clubs into venues near you, Demerit are amongst the biggest and best punk bands to originate behind the great wall.



American fans will be treated to the hardcore Punk philosophy of Demerit this summer as they embark on their first ever North American trek whilst on the Vans Warped Tour (Kevin says stage). The buzz surrounding this band has been constant since their inception and especially after winning 2008’s album of the year award (Bastards of the Nation) by China's own Painkiller Magazine. Their sonic mix of hardcore Punk and 80s metal is sure to give American Punks a taste they’ve been longing for and a new respect for China's flag bearing Punk renegades.

Their stint on Vans Warped Tour will begin July 29th in Orlando Florida and conclude August 14th in Portland Oregon before treking up and down the west coast for a number of club dates.
