White Whale – 4 Song 7inch

Listen to this and you’ll instantly hear a number of styles and influences.  It’s kind of like old school, melodic, skatepunk, with a touch of a soft side. The first song, “We’re Dead”, sounds heavily influenced by old school O.C. Punk. Then comes the second song, “Over Now”.  This is where the 77 style kicks in, similar to Johnny Thunders or Dead Boys. The next two songs, “Sunburn” and “1995” fall more into the skatepunk category. The vocals sound like Smogtown or The Junk. This 7” is AWESOME, especially if you’re into the bands they sound similar to.
