Wait.Think.Fast. – Vuelve Al Mar

This band makes me want to learn to speak, or at least understand Spanish. The gentle flow between English and Spanish in this album makes one curious about missing out on parts of this album. Wait. Think. Fast. is a classic example of band that can only have been conceived in Los Angeles with its Indie/New Age/Latin sound. The album itself is comforting to listen to. There is a good amount of variance in this collection of songs without the contrast of each being too stark. To top it all of, the cover concept for this album fits well with the tone that it sets. The natural brown cardstock cover, much like the color of a paper bag, is simply stamped with the band name, album title and design. Vuelve Al Mar is the kind of album that you could imagine yourself staying home on a rainy day and listening to, or perhaps a night when you are the only one home.
