Resolution 242 – Self Titled Release

Resolution 242 combines Punk, Reggae, and Folk influences with angry political lyrics. There are definitely elements of Joe Strummer and Billy Bragg within the mix and this provides some good listening material. The lyrics take on a seemingly Anarchist perspective with songs that rail against police violence, multinational corporations and banks, politicians, and military. This type of stuff would fit in well hear in the States with some of the Riot Folk type bands. Resolution set ambitions high and get a high payoff.
