Prima Donna – Bless This Mess

Three tracks into Bless This Mess and I’m asking myself how in the hell I haven’t come across any Prima Donna in the past!? I heard they opened for Dgeneration last year, but this marks the first time their awesome brand of rock hits my ears.....

and I’m totally digging what they’re all about. Its likely impossible to pigeon hole this band into any particular box due to their range of influences apparent on this disc, but if you are a fan of punk rock (70’s) then you will probably dig a few tracks here if not all of what Bless This Mess has to offer.

The instrumentation here may be a bit of a shocker as there is plenty of synthy keyboard lines running rampant through out most tracks, as well as some saxaphone action too. The guitars, bass and vocals are mixed just perfectly too with not one of them killing the mix and ruining any particular potential hit.

I’d suggest you pick up Bless This Mess if you want a modern take on 70’s rock done right. If you dig the new New York Dolls then this is for you.
