Piss n Blood – FTW

Please forgive me for I have made a terrible mistake. There has been a handful of shows that Piss N' Blood has played that I've been at and what the hell! How could I have passed on watching them? I was skeptical about this band and this album is great. I right away thought of the Sex Pistols, but better. It's pissed off, melodic, Punk rock n roll.

With songs about the media, politics, drug abuse, Punk rock, and everything that goes on in this world, "FTW" has a strong sound from start to finish. One of my favorites on here is "Piss N' Blood". I'm usually not too crazy about songs that are named after the bands name, but they nailed it. Another one was "Beautiful Losers", talking about being Punk rock! I'm sure most people reading this know what it feels like to be stared at funny because of the way you look but, still not care. With opening lyrics saying, "You see us on the street, we know you can't look away. All you conservative bastards, we don't care what you say. We know you wish you could be like us. We know we're losers and we don't give a fuck", it captures that feeling to a tee. "Killer Robot", the one instrumental reminds me of Cockney Rejects a little bit. Piss N' Blood's musical influences are easily spotted and they did a good job of putting them all together to make this album.
 
This here is definitely for fans of the Sex Pistols and pretty much any Duane Peters band. And if not, give it a listen anyways. It'll make you wanna dance around and do a little "wig out", while not caring and just having fun. I now have a new CD to add to my collection of music I actually like and will listen to.
