Michael Monroe – Sensory Overdrive

It is official, Michael Monroe is back, bigger and better than ever. No it’s not another Hanoi Rocks reunion album, its Michael working with an all star lineup, crafting songs like only he can. The albums opening 3 tracks are guaranteed to make it into the live set packing a punch like never heard before from his solo efforts.

Anthems of youthful rebellion, personal struggle and new found hope are found through out the 11 tracks here. Joining Michael in the studio were none other than Sammi Yaffa, Steve Conte, Ginger Wildheart, and Karl Rockfist; who together were able to write and record one hell of a in your face, dirty rock n roll record (complete with Michael on saxophone and harmonica). Fans of Michaels previous band Hanoi Rocks are sure to enjoy, as are any fan of The New York Dolls or Iggy Pop as their blood flows right into Monroe and right out of Sensory Overdrive.
