Hi Fi Spitfires – The 11th Hour

Pretty listenable street Punk from the U.K. with a sound that sometimes sounds like Oxymoron or One Way System and sometimes a bit more like Stiff Little Fingers. The songs are catchy, but perhaps missing a little power behind them at times. The layout has a very Punk rock leopard print background. The song that sticks out the most is "Doin' Alright For a Dead Man" which has a catchy singalong refrain. Upon checking out their MySpace it looks like this band is already making a name for themselves as they have landed opening slots with 999 and the Upstarts without having any record label to back them.
