Bing Crosby – Merry Christmas

There is a lot of Christmas music out there, most of it is pretty crappy, but if you have ever heard “White Christmas” (a seasonal classic) you know that listening to that song is about as traditional as having a Christmas tree. Merry Christmas, the album that the song “White Christmas” appears on, is chock full of classic songs that give you a warm holiday feeling . Half of the album is dedicated to religious songs like “Silent Night” and “Faith of out Fathers”, while the other side is dedicated to seasonal songs like “Ill Be Home for Christmas” and “Its Beginning to look a lot like Christmas”. This album has always been in such demand that it has been continually in print since it release in 1947. Merry Christmas is a great listen even if you aren’t religious and appreciate the music for what it is, not to mention sung by an extremely talented and timeless vocalist.
