311 – Uplifter

Get ready to be awakened by a raucous band out of North Hollywood, California. 311 released their latest CD "Uplifter" on June 2, 2009. This CD is loaded with high energy alternative rock n’ roll along with hints of rap mixed in. 311 sung about love and partying. The sixth track "Daisy Cutter" has a heavy alternative rock sound along with a "thumping" bass line and smooth vocals. A man is going crazy over a beautiful woman. He is doing everything he can to win her over. Meanwhile, the ultimate party song is the eighth track "Never Ending Summer." This track is a hard, loud alternative number with a lot of rap mixed in. This track is about having nonstop fun in the summer and forgetting about the stress of daily life.

"Uplifter" is the best CD released by 311 to date. This CD will definitely awaken the senses and is perfect for a party.
