Yes, MySpace may be pretty dead. Most people got pretty sick of the bands that kept posting a bulletin for their shows every 20 minutes, which to the astute, you knew the more they posted, the more you knew that a particular band had no audience and were desperate to play.
MySpace was a breeding ground for desperate bands who were desperate to appear successful. Bands even went to the extent to buy plays and friends.
Go on admit it – you did it, didn't you?
Well, in any other business cementing a deal based on falsifying numbers is called fraud. The death of MySpace helps makes the business of music a bit more honest again.
