Could CBGB’s be planning to reopen?

Does the possibility of CBGB's reopening excite you? Big Wheel was there in 2005 for an insane weekend of shows, so to have that same vibe going on more would not be a bad thing. Alot of the stuff from the former venue is in the basement so it could be pulled out and set back up.... would the feeling be like it used to be... who knows. The place as of today is now a high end John Varvatos clothing store and over the summer some of our staff was in New York to go check out the place and the clothing store did leave the left hand wall in tack with the stickers, scribblings, etc. According to Gothamist based in New York that CBGBs may be coming back, and soon. They have it on good authority that the legendary venue is still alive in spirit, and angling to take over a new space in Manhattan. Read more at the Gothamist HERE.
