Well like I said, Keith and I wrote all the songs together, so pretty much everything that I wrote musically I did right in front of him right on the spot and everything that he came up with lyrically was on the spot in front of me. It really is a collaboration and we both try to bring out the best in each other.



One of the songs I specifically was thinking of was "I Don't Belong." The other three songs on the E.P. seem to have more of a personal vibe but that song has perhaps a bit of a social or political feel to it.

Well we're very lucky to have Raymond Pettibon as our artist and I think that when you see the boxed set there's actually a Pettibon image that is going to be placed next to those lyrics. You'll see that Pettibon is kind of feeding off of us and we're kind of feeding off of him and he's kind of like our invisible honorary fifth member. You get the two of them talking about politics and it's just like stand back they have a lot to say.



I'm really excited to be in this band. It's a beautiful accident and I'm really happy for Keith as I've never seen him so happy.
