New York Hardcore legends Sheer Terror will be playing in NYC on November 28 with Breakdown and the Templars.
Hammer and Nails, the Boston based Oi! band featuring Matt Kelly (Fit For Abuse vocals, Dropkick Murphys drums) have a new 12" E.P. out on Rock N Roll Disgrace Records.
Direct Control have a new L.P. that will be out soon which collects early recordings from the band including their demo.
Aires and Graces have recently broken up in light of the band moving away from their Oi!/Street Punk sound. A few former members of the band have formed Happy Noos.
Betrayed have a new 7" out on React! Records called "Suffering."
The October issue of VegNews magazine features an interview with Toby Morse of H20 where he talks about veganism, Straight Edge, Hardcore, his favorite Southern California eating spots, and tattoos. In less crucial news Shania Twain beat out fellow nominee John Joseph for favorite vegetarian musician in the magazine's reader poll. Read more

This week TSOL front man Jack Grisham was given a "Distinguished Artist" award by the city of Huntington Beach. Not bad for a guy who fronts a band whose most popular song is about necrophelia and whose shows are still often monitored by police.
Friday night's Carson Daly show featured Off! (featuring members of Redd Kross, Hot Snakes, Burning Brides, and Keith Morris of the Circle Jerks) performing the four songs off of their new E.P. The footage was taken from their performance this week at Club Lingerie in Hollywood and they are the first band to ever play four songs on the show. On October 26th, Dischord Records is officially releasing the long bootlegged pre "Can I Say" session tapes by Dag Nasty featuring the band's original vocalist Shawn Brown. The album will be called "Dag With Shawn."

This month Big Wheel is celebrating our 13th anniversary. Check out our editorial column for some insight on how we have managed to keep going for so long
Members of the recently disbanded Nardcore revival band Dogends have a new band called Suburban Moms who play fast and intense Hardcore Punk. Their live performances are energetic and hectic.
The Canadian Hardcore band Urban Blight has a new 7" called "Total War" on Static Shock Records.
At the end of the month the Stimulators' "Loud Fast Rules!" L.P. will be finally officially reissued. This New York Punk band featured a very young Harley Flanagan on drums before he would later go on to play bass for the Cro Mags.
Orange County's Knives (ex Tipper's Gore) recently disbanded when vocalist Davey Ferchow left the band. However the remaining members have been practicing with Josh Townsend (C.O.P.) singing.

No Way has just reissued records from Chronic Sick, the Killed By Death staple band who wrote the ever controversial but uncontrollably catchy song "Prison Rape Blues."
New Jersey's Night Birds also have a new record in the works for No Way called "Midnight Movies."
Rumors have not been confirmed or denied that The Weirdos will be playing at the Frontier Records anniversary gig with the Adolescents, Middle Class, and Flyboys.
