Negative Approach performing at the Fuck Yeah Fest – at The EchoPlex – Los Angeles, CA

Anyone who has been to the F Yeah Fest in Echo Park in past years, you know this a good place to be at. Every year they have put this on it gets bigger and bigger, this year was no different.

 

The F Yeah fest was created by Sean Carlson who came up with this whole idea years back and over the years we have seen some amazing bands as well as this was an opportunity to get introduced to many new bands. All this fun that is put on does not come without risk. It was reported that right before Sean was to announce the line up for this years fest, the main financial backer pulled out. Sean is DIY all the way and just said fuck it and went ahead with the whole event, taking on an even greater financial risk that he is no position to undertake, which is an even greater reason to support this event.
 

One of the bands that the fest was able to secure was Negative Approach. They are a band that never made it out to LA back in the day and it took The Fuck Yeah fest to help make that happen. The crowd to see this band for the most part were not even born when this band got started and what made this even more cool is that you could tell they were true students of this band.... they did not miss a beat during the set. We managed to wedge our way in here and there to get some photos, without being an obstruction to the fans that came to see the band play.
