The Casualties at The Vault
Last Punk show there
June 28, 2008
The Casualties - Youth Brigade - Time Again - Career Soldiers - Destroy Everything - at The Vault 350 - Long Beach, CA - June 28, 2008 As fate would have it, this turned out to be the last Punk show to go down at The Vault 350... except know one knew that.
If this show was the swan song for The Vault, this was one of the best shows to go down in a while. The back story on The Vault closing down is that some months back the owner of The Vault had passed away suddenly, leaving the place is limbo a bit. The existing staff made a go of it, even lowering the drink prices to less that half you would pay for a gallon of gas. In the end it was not meant to be and the heirs of The Vault have decided to sell the place rather than be in the entertainment business. Who knows, maybe it will open again when someone ponys up the reported $9 million dollars they want for the place. On July 2, 2005 we were the first media outlet to to bring you the very first show that took place there. The bill on that show featured, The Adicts, The Dickies, Channel 3, Bang Sugar Bang and The Diffs who would be technically the very first band to play at The Vault.
Back the the Casualties show. Yes this show was a kick in the ass all through the great line up of bands that would now go down in history as playing the last show at The Vault 350 in Long Beach. We have to thank the staff there and the production people, they always made sure we had everything we needed to do our work there. Want to see all the action... there are ....more photos »
