American Hardcore movie sound track review
February 15, 2007
Most of the CD’s we review are sent to us, this one we actually bought. Anyway we saw this movie last year when it was making the rounds and it kicked ass. The movie serves as a historical document of the Punk scene in the early 80’s. This 26 song sound track contains songs from the bands that appeared in the movie like Black Flag, The Adolescents, DOA, Bad Brains, Circle Jerks, Gang Green Articles of Faith, 7 Seconds, Negative Approach, MDC and more.
What makes this CD a must add for your collection is that it is like getting a best of album of a grip of bands all on one CD. This one ranks right up there with the epic compilation albums that came out in the 80’s. We bought it and you wont’ be sorry if you buy this one either.

Crashed Out – Pearls Before Swine review
February 1, 2007
This CD not only made it past the 10 seconds and was played through and through for a couple hours. Crashed Out is a seriously great band, yet they remain very under rated. The album is very contagious, was it the guitar leads, was it the harmonizing and melodic feel, or was it that we found ourselves singing along to it and getting all whipped, yea it was all of that.
The couple of stand out songs for us were, “Murder On the Sunset Strip” and “Freakshow” and within that song is a guitar lead of the theme song from The Munsters. If you are a fan of The Briggs, Rancid, Angelic Upstarts, Red Alert then we think this will be a good fit with your vibe. This is an album we are glad we were given to review.
