This was indeed the case this Saturday, as the Viva tour rolled into Los Angeles. There's a joke about every Adicts show that longtime fans usually agree on, and it's that it seems as though an Adicts show is typically many a punk's first show experience. Despite the elitist sentiments that older punks have regarding how many times they've been to an Adicts show, an Adicts show brings together both youngster and veteran alike. Does the possibility of CBGB's reopening excite you? Big Wheel was there in 2005 for an insane weekend of shows, so to have that same vibe going on more would not be a bad thing. Alot of the stuff from the former venue is in the basement so it could be pulled out and set back up…. would the feeling be like it used to be… who knows. Read more
