Key Club is re-opening -Sort of

As was reported here back on December 3, 2009 -The Key Club was closing it’s doors. However Key Club President Keith Pressman at that time said that the closure was short-term. He said the club had closed to make way for a new partner and renovations. It was announced that on Friday January 29th, The Key Club will celebrate its grand re-opening and hosted by LL Cool J. In looking at the line up of stuff that is scheduled on a calender that is very spotty, it all looks like "dance club" type stuff. You can never judge the book by its cover, so as of right now it is not clear if Punk, Metal and Indie Rock will return to The Key Club in some form or even at all. Music fans all over southern California have enjoyed tons of great live shows at the Key Club over the years, so lets hope that this tradition will continue.
